Giulia & I invite you to a weekend of adventure in Upstate NY. Shrug off the city and ease into a woodland weekend. The perfect active weekend escape: “camping” in modernized rustic cabins, eating local country style food, outdoor and indoor yoga sessions, 44 miles of biking through pristine countryside, relaxing by the pond, and other fun activities.
Our destination is Taconic State Park, at the junction of New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. We'll be staying close to a 1,000-foot waterfall called Bash Bish Falls that can only be described as spectacular! Nestled in the woods, our cabins with have screened-in porches and are fully serviced with bathrooms, showers, heat, electricity, bedding, towels, fire places, full kitchens, living rooms and more.
On Saturday, there will be an option of hiking to the Falls or taking a bike ride to Catamount Aerial Forest Adventure Park where you'll be challenged to cross bridges, climb ladders, pass obstacles and zip lines. Alternatively, you can choose to simply hang out by the pond, read a book or go on a leisurely hike.
We'll be waking up to sit for meditation in nature, and move through invigorating yoga sessions that will make you feel empowered and embodied. We will tell stories by the fire and retreat our bodies, minds and spirits from the urban environment.
